What's Next?
Your SHTC PAC is on the alert for trends and developments that will impact the Tower's well-being. We must be a participant in setting standards for future neighborhood development:

We are actively involved in the planning, and are vigorously pressing for noise abatement on events at the new Penn's Landing Entertainment Center especially the amphitheater.

What kind of impact will the increased traffic and crowds have on you? Will they hinder your access and egress? Will the increased street noises have a negative affect? Will security become even more problematic?

Nightly shows are coming soon from the Penn's Landing Laser Shows how will the lights be directed? Will they invade your privacy?

Here are links to the Philadelphia Inquirer's five-part series on Penn's Landing:

Part One: The Lost Waterfront: Steps to Reclaim Penn's Landing
Part Two: Two River Cities Share in Dream, Not Results
Part Three: Political Currents Shape Waterfront
Part Four: From Eyesore to Oasis
Part Five: I-95's Stranglehold on the Riverfront

Are we getting our fair share of city services? We must ensure that our taxes are equitable. Towers residents annually pay more than $1 million in real estate taxes; $30,000 in multifamily license fees.
